A Day of Teaching

Last week, I had the pleasure of teaching an encaustic collage class to 6 students visiting Philadelphia from Colegio Williams in Cuernavaca through a 5th Grade Exchange Program at Plymouth Meeting Friends School. I taught at PMFS for 20 years and my son took part in the exchange program when he was a student, so the school and the exchange program are very special to me.

Students and teachers, including Leann, a former colleague and the current exchange coordinator, spent 2 hours in the studio. They tried different materials and got to be very creative. It was such a joy chatting with them and watching them explore!
